Let’s take a quick dip around the NFL to see what the top stories are coming out of Week 5:
- The Detroit Lions are 5-0! That hasn’t happened in over 50 years. Last night’s Monday Night Football match up against the Bears was exciting. The Lions, who were down 10-7 going into the 3rd quarter , have a pretty cake scheduled until they face off against the Packers Thanksgiving weekend. Will be interesting to see if this trend can continue.
- Tim Tebow fans rejoice. The 2nd year Quarterback has been named as starter for the Denver Broncos
- And in other Broncos news. Brady Quinn may no longer be the number 1 QB option in Denver, but surely he’ll get Boyfriend of the year award. Quinn took a red eye flight on Sunday after the lost to the Chargers Quinn took a red eye flight to be with girlfriend Alicia Sacramone, who had surgery Monday in Charlotte, N.C., on her ruptured Achilles’ tendon. She’s a gymnast. Awwwwwwwww
- And for fun, let’s add the opening “dance” that was performed during MNF by the Bears, Anthony Adams. I guess it really got his team pumped up… wait, they lost. :shrug:
