Alshon Jeffery
Alshon may not have had the season many fantasy owners would have hoped, but it’s safe to say he is one of the elite receivers in the NFL. With great size, hands and speed Jeffery would be a great addition to any team that could have him. The one concern with this stud receiver is his injury prone reputation, which may scare off some teams. But, you know how this story ends… franchise tag.
Malik Jackson
Jackson is the type of player whose stats don’t jump off the page. He isn’t going to sack the quarterback fifteen times like Von Miller. But what he is going to do is change the way an offensive coordinator calls the game. Jackson makes everyone around him better and commands a double team, which will free up Von Miller or DeMarcus Ware to hit the quarterback. With Miller receiving the franchise tag, Jackson tested the free agency waters and ended up as one of the highest paid interior defenders in the league.
There are many other players that will improve whichever team they go to drastically, but this set of guys will turn most average teams into contenders. Though many may opt to stay, money talks and for these guys, the conversation will be hard not to listen to.
