Tony Romo Sees Super Bowl Win In Dallas Cowboys Future

Tony Romo has a message to his critics. Not only does he hear the chatter, he is specifically calling out names in response to it ::cough Deion Sanders cough:: And yes, “Superbowl” is included in the message:

“Every once in awhile you definitely hear things,” Romo said. “That’s not something you search out. Deion is welcomed to his own opinion about stuff. Deion is Deion. He is what he is. We’re going to go out here and we’re going to play good football.”

“This team is going to win a Super Bowl at some point,” he said. “It’s going to be exciting when that time comes. And when we look back, we’ll know who was on what side of the fence during those tough moments.”

Ohhh that sounds like a loosely veiled threat to you bandwagon fans! I’m all for confidence and bravado. Tony has shown what he’s made of this season playing with fractured ribs and letting the critics rumblings turn to white noise. But let’s face it, if the Cowboys still end up on the wrong side of the playoffs, all of that means nothing.

The Cowboys face off against the Patriots this weekend. That would be a great time to show they mean business and turn this thing around.
