Let’s be honest, nobody watched NFL’s Pro-Bowl. So now the league has decided to take advantage of the fantasy football craze – and borrow a cue from the NHL’s all-star game – and incorporate a fantasy draft, doing away with AFC vs. NFC. Deion Sanders and Jerry Rice will be the captains selecting the teams.
NFL eliminated traditional AFC-NFC Pro Bowl matchup; will be replaced with Pro-Bowl fantasy-like draft, per ESPN sources.

Now players will be assigned to teams through the Pro Bowl Draft (really). Jerry Rice and Deion Sanders will be draft captains.

No more kickoffs in Pro Bowl. Rosters will consist of 43 players per squad. Game will be played Jan 26 in Honolulu.

It can’t hurt, right? The draft will be held on January 22nd. The game will continue to be held in Hawaii and is scheduled for January 26th.
