It’s been awhile since we caught a Twitter slip up from an athlete. Most are more careful, have a social media expert controlling their tweets, or left Twitter for Instagram. However, on Halloween somebody got caught slipping.
It’s been pretty quiet so far this season for Cleveland Browns’ rookie, Johnny Manziel. Apparently he was looking to make a connection with someone on Halloween via Twitter. Johnny accidentally Tweeted his number to his million plus followers. Of course the Tweet was quickly deleted but ‘You’re gonna have to be faster than that Johnny”
I’m quite certain his cell blew up and overloaded his carrier – you know that fast busy tone you get when something is off with a number. Then, his voicemail was full. And lastly, the number was disconnected. All in under an hour.
Gotta to be more careful Johnny Football.
