Meanwhile, back in the NBA…
There were a few key match ups taking place in the Western Conference last night. While I admit my social life regulated me to “highlight watcher” last night (not such a bag thing, a well balanced Jill is crucial to success) I still managed to let Sports center and NBA TV’s Game Time serenade me to sleep.

The New Orleans Hornets are off to the best start in franchise history and Chris Paul looks like he’s making a case for Most Improved Player. The offseason was a roller coaster ride for Hornets fans. First there were concerns about Chris Paul returning from a meniscus tear in his left knee that kept him sidelined for most of last season. Then over the summer there were the rumors that CP3 wanted out of New Orleans. Somehow management alleviated whatever fears about the team CP3 was having (in addition to the fact that he was under contract for another few years so he didn’t really have a choice) and now the pieces seem to be coming together.

It’s Fall, Officially BOO season and right before the NBA opens up camp, Chris Paul Flew home to Winston and proposed to his girlfriend (and son’s mother) Jada Crawley.

Chris Paul wanting out of New Orleans isn’t a newsflash. There have been signs for months that everything isn’t right with the Hornets. His destinations of choice… THAT’s news.
Yesterday a story was floated out of New Orleans that CP3 more than likely won’t be in a Hornets jersey when training camp opens in October. (more…)
