Eagles DeSean Jackson done for the season

It seems like ever since Vince Young said the Philadelphia Eagles were going to be a dream team like the Miami Heat a few seasons ago things have been down hill for the team. In yet another blow to their sub par season, wide receiver DeSean Jackson has been placed on the injured reserve list as a result of fractured ribs from Monday night’s loss to the Carolina Panthers, 30-22.

Jackson suffered the injury during the first quarter of the contest. It’s estimated it’ll take approximately six weeks to heal. The Eagles have loss seven straight and it’s all but sealed that coach Andy Reid will be gone in the off season. The teams current record is 3-8.
