Los Angeles City Council Had Unanimous Vote On Framework Deal For 72,000 Seat NFL Stadium

In a unanimous vote, Los Angeles City Council has approved the framework to finance what will be Farmer’s Field.  The approximately $1.2-billion NFL stadium would be located in Downtown L.A. next to the Staples Center and LA Live (which AEG also owns, but you knew that). The 722,000-seat stadium would open in 2016.

Great, now all we need is a team! 2016 seems so far away. That would be over 20 years in LA with no football. We’re on our way though!
