Still Got It: 5 Retired Athletes Who Could Probably Still Compete

  1. Herschel Walker

If there’s anyone on this list who could truly make a comeback, it’s Herschel Walker. Now 53 years old, Walker still reportedly runs a sub 4.5 second forty yard dash. Walker is not only in shape for being 53, if he re-entered the NFL, he would be one of the most ripped players in the league.

  1. Randy Moss

Moss is one of the best receivers to ever lace up a pair of cleats. With breakaway speed and exceptional hands Moss was a matchup nightmare for opposing cornerbacks. Although his speed may not be what it used to be, it’s not unreasonable to think he could still out sprint defenders and wind up in the end zone.

Though it is unlikely that anyone from this list will ever make the plunge back into professional sports, there’s no doubt they still could. They all to some degree dominated their respective sports and, if given the chance, it’s likely that they could do it again. In fact, Jordan may just have to come back if he ever wants the Hornets to make the playoffs.
