Was this the dumbest play called in Super Bowl history? [Video]

Super-Bowl-49

Super Bowl XLIX was everything last year’s match up wasn’t. Exciting down to the final tick of the clock, people will be questioning Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll for a long time.

Tom Brady led an epic drive topping it off with a 3-yard touchdown to Julian Edelman, giving the Patriots a 28-24 lead over the Seahawks.  The two minute warning hit and Russell Wilson had the chance to show his greatness, then something crazy happened, then something even crazier happened.

Russell Wilson got the Seahawks down to the Patriots 38 and slung it way down field to Jermaine Kearse.  At first it appeared to be broken up by Malcolm Butler but the ball bobbled around and fell right into the hands of Kearse for an amazing first down on the Patriots 5.

Seahawks then did the right thing handing it off to Marshawn Money Lynch who rushed it for 4 yards to the New England 1.

ALL the Seahawks had to do was hand it Lynch and run it again, that guy is like a freight train!  Instead Wilson threw the ball intended for Ricardo Lockette and was intercepted by Malcolm Butler.

GAME! Patriots win 28-24
