I think a little trash talk is healthy. Especially in sports where the whole goal is to dominate your opponent. Right now the undisputed King of Talk is Seattle Seahawks corner Richard Sherman.
Last April, Sherman became the highest paid cornerback in the NFL after signing a 4-year, $65 million contract extension with the Seahawks. But that was short lived because within days, Cleveland Brown’s cb Joe Haden signed a 5-year, $68 million contract extension.
Until this week, when Arizona Cardinal’s Patrick Peterson announced his five-year extension worth $70 million which includes $48 million guaranteed. Patrick went on Twitter to announce his news.

Soon after his announcement, Sherman RT this:
