Patriots Rob Gronkowski done for season with torn ACL

Gronkowski-done-for-season

New England Patriots safety Rob Gronkowski is done for the season after tearing his ACL & MCL in Sunday’s comeback win over the Cleveland Browns. Grok suffered the injury after taking a hit from Browns T.J. Ward.  Ward says he hit Gronkowski low to avoid a fine.

Gronk becomes the 42nd player this season to suffer an ACL injury.

A partial list of players with torn ACL’s in 2013 reads like an all-star team: Reggie Wayne, Melvin Ingram, Jeremy Maclin, Arrelious Benn, Keller, Will Smith, Maurkice Pouncey, Vick Ballard, Sam Bradford, Mike Goodson, and Bryan Bulaga.

Gronk has had a rough time with injuries over the past few season including a lower back and forearm injuries. Gronk and Bulls star Derrick Rose should become friends and motivate each other for their return. Worst luck.
