NFL Wild Card Weekend Favorite Moments

The NFL playoffs have started. Over the weekend the wildcard games lived up to their name with all four home teams losing, smashing the idea of home field advantage. Let’s take a look at some of the highlights.

You knew there was going to be drama between AFC North division rivals Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals. They were warned in advance to keep it clean, but that didn’t work. The Bengals snatched defeat from the jaws of victory, losing 18-16 to the Steelers.

Pittsburgh Steelers 18, Cincinnati Bengals 16. Following the game, Bengals Adam “Pacman” Jones lit hot fire to the refs on Instagram, after his personal foul allowed the Steelers the opportunity to pull ahead in the final minutes of the fourth quarter.

The Kansas City Chiefs are on fire. They embarrassed the Houston Texans, beating them 30-0. Houston had a few pregame fireworks. outside linebacker Jadeveon Clowney reportedly left the stadium after finding out he wasn’t able to play in Saturday’s playoff game. He later said he was “frustrated.” After that beat down, he should be happy he wasn’t on the field for the embarrassment.

The Green Bay Packers regained their mojo, scoring 35 points in a game for the first time since September. After the way the Washington Redskins season started, they really should’ve just been happy to be there.

It looked as if the cold was going to be the Minnesota Vikings 12th man in their match up against the Seattle Seahawks. This game came down to the kicker. Blair Walsh has been one of the NFL’s best kickers since he entered the league. The Seahawks battle their way back. Walsh hit three field goals, and it seemed as if he would be the player to get the game ball.

But, it was all a dream, Seahawks 10, Vikings 9.

Ricardo Lockette got a few jabs in on his Instagram page, using Steve Harvey’s Miss Universe flub as the punchline.
