Usually when we hear about someone having cold feet, they’re talking about being a little gun shy bout situation – when we’re talking about men, its usually about commitment but that’s a conversation for another day. In this instance, we’re discussing Detroit Lions defensive tackle, Ndamukong Suh.

Suh was suspended by the legal following last Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers when he stepped on QB Aaron Rogers leg not once, but two times. Suh has a reputation for being a dirty player, and has been suspended for stuff like this before.

Suh appealed the decision and his suspension was overturned. The reason why, his feet were so cold, they were numb and he couldn’t feel himself stepping on Rogers.

Now Suh will be available for the Lions match up against the Dallas Cowboys Sunday. he still has to pay the $70,000 fine. But the playoff bonus money should help.

Rodgers doesn’t believe Suh’s version of events however.

“The only thing I can say is if you step on something in your everyday life or if you step on somebody on the field,” Rodgers said Tuesday. “The first reaction seems to be looking back and maybe apologizing with your hands or maybe pulling your foot back right away, and I’m just not sure that’s what happened on Sunday.”
