Cowboys QB Tony Romo has been placed on IR after undergoing back surgery this morning.

The Cowboys have been quiet all week about Romo’s status with an NFC-East-title-and-a-playoff spot on the line for the winner of Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Kyle Orton is expected to start in place of Romo.
