Bold Predictions for NFL Week 7

Week 7 in the NFL kicks off with an absolute bang – the battle for worst in the NFC West. Not excited yet? Really? Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks have collapsed more times than a house of cards. From a Super Bowl champion, turned contender to now an absolute pretender. They will try to turn their luck around against the consistently-inconsistent 49ers.

Once the Thursday nighter is through, we get to some truly great looking matchups on Sunday. In the early games, one would think the Bills should be able to get back on track facing the lowly Jaguars. The ever-surprising Browns may actual have a highlight filled game against St. Louis. That could definitely be one of the bigger sleeper matchups of the weekend. The high-flying New York Jets head to New England as the weather starts to turn at Foxboro and we also get a rematch of Super Bowl 38, with the undefeated Carolina Panthers taking on the up and down Philadelphia Eagles.

It’s going to be hard to find safe bets but there are definitely more than a few games to keep an eye on. After passing for over 500 yards in Green Bay last Sunday, Philip Rivers and the Chargers host the mostly-predictable Raiders. While the extremely low-flying Ravens head to the desert to take on the NFC West leading Cardinals. Week 7’s NFL betting line at TopBet already has Arizona listed as -7.5 point favorites on Monday Night Football.

Now aside from the games, perhaps one of the best stories of the season has been the emergence of the young guns. Devonta Freeman in Atlanta, DeAndre Hopkins in Houston and this week, keep an eye out for Christine Michael in Dallas. The former Seahawk freak of nature is going to finally get his chance with the rock. Michael has been getting the majority of the first team snaps in practice and looks to be at the front of the line as the number one running back coming out of the Cowboys bye week.
