We’ve known for years that Viagra helps men perform better, but did you know it helps them perform on the field too? That’s what Bears receiver Brandon Marshall says.
“I don’t know too much about Adderall,” Marshall said. “I know guys, it is such a competitive league, guys try anything just to get that edge. I’m fortunate enough to be blessed with size and some smarts to give me my edge. But some guys, they’ll do whatever they can to get an edge. I’ve heard of some crazy stories. I’ve heard (of) guys using like Viagra, seriously. Because the blood is supposedly thin, some crazy stuff. So, you know, it’s kind of scary with some of these chemicals that are in some of these things so you have to be careful.”
Apparently Viagra can give jocks a competitive edge by dilating blood vessels and increasing oxygenation, which means it could improve athletic performance, particularly at elevation. There’s been studies.
Now here’s my question, does that mean that the athletes will be on the field in an ummmmmmm “aroused” state? Cause those tight pants and tackling… that might not be the greatest of combinations, right?
Ok seriously, Is Viagra on the banned substance list? That wouldn’t be fair.
No mention if Marshall has actually tested out the alleged benefits of it. He DID play in Denver though and considering the elevated climate, I’m sure he has a few stories…
