A video has surfaced of a man alleged to be 27-year-old New Orleans Saints linebacker Junior Galette striking a woman with a belt in a South Beach fight.
The video originally appeared in 2013 and features Galette getting into a fight with some onlookers, at one point, he eventually pulls out a belt and swings it at several people. A woman in a bikini top and green shorts approaches him around the 14-second mark, attempting to talk to the man who then begins to viciously striking her with the belt.
Galette is already on the league’s radar after being accused of domestic violence and battery in January. A 22-year-old woman accused Galette of beating her at his home. The charge was dismissed in February. She then filed a civil suit, which was dropped in March.
