Carolina Panthers QB Cam Newton Says Teammates Need To “Get On His Level” [Video]
Carolina Panthers QB Cam newton recently sat down for an interview with ESPN the magazine. At one point, the conversation turns to the losing culture of the Panthers. Cam’s response, that he wants “everybody to get up on his level” has caused a bit of controversy.
I have no problem with him saying that. People can and do get stuck in a rut. Sometimes a fresh perspective is what’s needed to turn things around. He’s driven AND he’s proving it where it counts most, on the field. Last season the Panthers had two wins, so far they have 4 wins. In his first two games, he threw for over 400 yards setting a record. What’s wrong with wanting his teammates to raise their game. That’s what winners do!
