Did you enjoy a little football with your turkey? If you checked out the Baltimore Ravens defeat the Pittsburgh Steelers, you caught a bit of controversy in the third quarter involving a move by Steelers head coach, Mike Tomlin interfering with Ravens Jacoby Jones scoring a touchdown on a kick return.
Many will argue that it should’ve been a penalty. Tomlin doesn’t believe he interfered with the play but did say that he was on the field and should’ve been on the sideline.
“I always watch the returns on the Jumbotron, it provides a better perspective for me,” Tomlin said. “I lost my placement as he broke free and saw at the last second how close I was to the field of play.
“I do it quite often, like everybody else in the National Football League. I was wrong, I accept responsibility.”
The Ravens won this game and Torrey Smith even took a light hearted jab at Tomlin on his Instagram account.
Suspect two days for head coaches of professional sports franchises. Jason Kidd was fined $50,000 for his late game shinanigans from Wednesday night.
