Titans Chris Johnson says he’ll beat Adrian Peterson’s 2012 rushing record

Chris-Johnson

People forget that in 2009, Titans Chris Johnson rushed for 2006 yards. So when you hear Johnson proclaim that he will beat Adrian Peterson’s 2012 rushing record of 2,097 yards, you at least have to listen.

“I’m very confident. I’ve always been a confident guy. This is a situation, if you want something to happen, you’ve got to speak on it. You’ve got to believe in it and you’ve got to pray and God will lead you there. It’s the kind of situation where I know the kind of guy I am. I know the kind of back I am. If the situation is right for me, I know I can do it.”

Now this is the part where I remind you that Johnson, or 2K as he is now referring to himself as, hasn’t rushed for over 1,370 yards in the past three years. But hope is springs eternal.

At least he knows no matter what he’s rushing for, he can attempt to set the record for fitting the most females in an SUV after a club.
