Titans RB Chris Johnson believes he’s faster than Usain Bolt

Titans RB Chris Johnson believes that in the right set up, Jamacia’s Usain Bolt, the man currently crowned as the “fastest man alive,” wouldn’t stand a chance against him in a race.

“I feel like if I would have kept training for track I’d have a chance, but I play football and he runs track, so it’s totally different,” Johnson said. “I think I could still probably beat him in the 40. If I actually trained for the distance he trained for, I think I’d have a chance.”

Bolt just won Gold in the 100, at the Olympics in London, breaking his previous Olympic record with a 9.63  to win his second straight 100 meters.

To be fair, Johnson hasn’t focused on track since high school but Johnson famously ran a 4.24 in the 40 during NFL combine in 2008. Maybe they can do something for charity next spring. Or just have a street race after the club like Bolt and actor Mickey Roukre did.
