Looks as if Under Armour will have to find another NBA player to be the face of the brand. Nike has countered the offer presented by UA, and KD will stay with the brand.
KD’s last deal with Nike was for seven-years-$60 million. While details are under wraps, word is his new deal will pay him more than the $40 million the Oklahoma City Thunder will pay the All-Star in the last two years of his contract. Unofficially, this means the Thunder have to be shook that KD will bolt for a bigger market in 2016 because he’ll more than make up for whatever salary he loses with his endorsements.
LeBron James congratulated KD on his deal
Guess he knows that means even more for him in the future.
