The Golden State Warriors were not happy with LeBron James’ decorations at his Halloween party last year. The decorations joked about the Cleveland Cavaliers 3-1 comeback, and there reportedly was a Stephen Curry doll guests had to walk over. James, however, heaped nothing but praise on his rival team, although he doesn’t consider them that. James says they’re more dangerous now than last year. The Warriors created a new NBA record going 73-9 last season. They’re obviously not to going to match that this year, but they added superstar Kevin Durant and increased their points per game, point differential and field goal percentage from last season.
“They’re even more dangerous,” James admitted, according to Cleveland.com. “They’re even more dangerous than they were last year and that’s pretty hard to say because they were a damn great team last year and they’re even better this year.”
“I don’t pay that much attention to what they’re trying to do as far as fitting in,” James said. “You have to be around them every day to know that. But they’re a great team, a hell of a team, probably one of the best teams ever assembled and they’re going to continue to get better and better as the season goes along.”
As for the Halloween decorations, James said, “That’s far removed, man,” James said according to ESPN. “There were a lot of people featured. I was also featured in there too. But that’s water under the bridge.”
The Cavaliers will play the Warriors at the Oracle tonight in their first matchup since the Cavs won on Christmas.
