Is LeBron James King Flopper? [video]

Does LeBron James’ arsenal of weapons on the hardwood include a mastery in the art of flopping? A lot of people say yes, especially the Chicago Bulls right now. In fact, head coach Tom Thibodeau was just fined $35K for saying the Heat were getting the calls and stating, “I see how things are going, I watch very closely,” “We’re not going to get calls, that’s reality.”

He was referring to an incident during Friday’s match up which saw LeBron and Bulls big man Nazr Mohammed engage in a pushing match that resulted in Nazr’s ejection.

LeBron of course, disagrees with this position.

“It’s kind of the same [as when] I heard people say I was overrated,” he said Sunday. “It’s kind of like the same response.”

“I don’t need to flop,” James said. “I play an aggressive game. I don’t flop. I’ve never been one of those guys.”

“What I said is what I said, but I don’t want to get involved too much with what everybody else says about us, about me,” he said. “It’s nothing I haven’t heard before in my career. It’s nothing. … I’m here to play basketball and do whatever it takes for our team to win. So what a coach and players say to me and about me, I don’t really care.”

Here’s footage from alleged LeBron flop plays from last season. You make the call. Keep in mind the rules for flopping have been tightened this season.
