For the first time in the history of the NBA playoffs, road team won X of the X games in the opening weekend. The Portland Trailblazers won an overtime thriller against the Houston Rockets. Blazers LaMarcus Aldridge had the game of his life, setting a franchise playoff-record and career playoff high. Aldridge scored 46 points and grabbed 18 rebounds to lead the Blazers in a overtime win in Houston.
