When the average person thinks of basketall “meccas,” New York and Chicago are usually the cities that come to mind. Most don’t even realize how cities like D.C. and Los Angeles are on the rise.
As a matter of fact, L.A. has the most players in the NBA from a city currently! Baron Davis and some of the L.A. ballers have a movement they’ve titled L.A.U. (that’s L.A. unified)
As the summer (and lockout :: sad face::) press on, I’ll be spotlighting some of the L.A. players, their connections to one another some of the summer pro ams (the Drew League) and more.
