Listen, I don’t care how you feel about it, Serena Williams is the GOAT of female athletes. Serena won her 18th career Grand Slam championship. Williams made light work of her good friend, Caroline Wozniacki, 6-3, 6-3, to secure her third US Open final in a row and her sixth win over all.

“I have been trying to reach it for so long, since last year, well, since the beginning of the year,” said Williams, who received an 18-karat gold bracelet from Evert and Navratilova after the match. “I didn’t really think I would get there. I just felt so good.”

Serena and Caroline went out following Serena’s win.

 

With this win, Serena ties Chris Evert and Martina Navratilova. Legend.
