Well, you may want to start looking into flights and hotel rooms in Vegas for May 5th. Floyd Mayweather Jr’s camp has said the boxer isn’t planning a long hiatus from the ring and the opponent they want is Manny Pacquiao.
Leonard Ellerbe, an advisor to Mayweather, broke the news.
“We had a discussion, Floyd, me and Al,” Ellerbe said. “Floyd made it very clear to us what he wanted to do. He told us he is looking to make the biggest fight that is out there and to make it in May.”
Obviously that’s the fight that everyone wants to see. Pacquiao’s next match is November 12th against Juan Manuel Marquez.
All of this sounds great. But we’ve been here before only to be let down.
