The Knicks and Nuggets are reportedly in talks to discuss a trade that would send guard Iman Shumpert to the Nuggets for third-year forward Kenneth Faried. The Knicks haven’t looked inspired this season, with a record of 2-4. The Knicks are thin at the front court with Tyson Chandler out with an injury, Amaré a ghost of himself and Kenyon Martin.
Shumpert is averaging 9.5 points and 4 rebounds this season. Faried’s numbers are 8 points and 8.5 rebounds. “The Manimal” as he’s known as, loves to clean up the boards. Something the Knicks need. Iman has been replaced in the starting line up by JR Smith. Smith is coming back from off season knee surgery.
Iman posted this on Twitter not long after the rumor broke.
If only y’all cud see my mentions lol. I’m going back to sleep.

**UPDATE**
Denver has made it clear to Kenneth Faried's reps: There are no active talks involving him. Knicks offered Shumpert. Denver rejected idea.
