Sometimes you just have to shake your head instead of trying to figure things out. The NBA Coach of the Year, George Karl has been fired by the Denver Nuggets according to Yahoo Sports. Not only was Karl allegedly upset that team GM Masai Ujiri left the team to head up the Toronto Raptors, Karl also wanted an extension going into his final contract year and ownership wasn’t prepared to give it to him per sources. Denver believes it can attract an elite coach with its roster; simply didn’t want to deal with an unhappy Karl in final year of contract.”
The Nuggets have reportedly requested permission to meet with Grizzlies estranged head coach Lionel Hollins and Pacers assistant Brian Shaw.
Things can change in the blink of an eye. From coach of the year to the unemployment line. Can I point out that Lakers head coach Mike D’Antoni is still employed… ::sad face::

Of course that whole never-making-it-out-of-the-first-round thing might have something to do with it.
