The whole situation with Floyd Mayweather Jr., 50 Cent and the formation of The Money Team promotions has been confusing. Especially that part when it was no longer between 50 and Floyd but, with Floyd’s arch-boxing rival Manny Pacquiao. Well, apparently the answer to some of these questions are contained in a few jailhouse letters that were obtained by Fight Hype.
You be the judge, were “fiddy” and and a former associate of Mayweather, Tommy Smalls in cahoots to swindle the boxer?
Judging from the letter that was sent to Mayweather while he was incarcerated, postmarked July 24, 2012, which was exactly 4 days after it was revealed that TMT Promotions was formed, it would seem that the newly created promotional company was more of a joint venture between 50 Cent and Tommy Summers.
Interesting turn of events. No wonder Floyd is giving 50 the side eye. I guess we’ll see how this one plays out. Messy…
