TNT Sports went all out on the first day of the playoffs to show support for their colleague, sideline reporter Craig Sager. Last week his son, Craig Sager Jr., announced that his father was battling Leukemia and was preparing to begin treatment.
The Inside the NBA crew all donned colorful suits in honor of Sager’s flamboyant ensembles he wears on the sidelines.
A hashtag was created on Twitter #GetWellSager, where fans could send well wishes and show support. And during Spurs vs. Mavericks, Craig Sager Jr. interviewed Spurs head coach Gregg Popavich who sent a message to the elder Sager, “we want your fanny back on the court.”
