Actress and singer Zendaya‘s dating life has been in the headlines lately after she and New York Giants’ wide reciever Odell Beckham Jr. attended The Grammys together.
Zendaya’s father was quick to say that ODB was “auditioning” to date the KC Undercover star.
“What relationship? We’re just friends. If you see my daughter out on a date without me, it’s a relationship. It’s like an audition… it’s an interview.”
Zendaya confirmed that her dad still runs that process but she and Beckham are “interviewing.” Here is a further explanation from the 19-year-old while playing a game of date, marry or kill with Power 105’s Angie Martinez. Her choices were ODB, Chris Brown and singer/actor Trevor Jackson.
“Here’s the thing: Even if it does progress, you gotta go through my dad first,” she said. “Just because you’re in the NFL, you killin’ stuff, that doesn’t mean you get to skip past pops. He’s not going to allow that to happen.”
