Rudy Gay discovered he had been traded from the Toronto Raptors to the Sacramento Kings on Sunday shortly before tipoff against the Lakers in L.A. Many people assume that athletes get a bunch of free tickets for friends and family to attend games. False, players have to pay for those tickets.
Gay had purchased several tickets for his loved ones to attend the match up and asked for a refund once he learned of the trade.

Makes sense to me. I wonder if he received his money back. The Kings released a video of Rudy saying he was excited to become a member of the Kings on Instagram Monday. Perhaps Gay was still in shock, but he didn’t seem to excited, he actually appeared a bit perturbed.
