LeBron James Sells Sports Medicine Drama To NBC

LeBron James and his production company, Spring Hill Entertainment recently sold their first scripted drama project to NBC.

The untitled hour-long drama will step into the world of sports medicine. The concept is about a “brilliant doctor” who specializes in treating the world’s greatest sports stars, suddenly has a health crisis that forces him to rethink his approach to medicine with the help of a gifted sports psychologist. Renowned orthopedic/sports surgeon Dr. James Andrews is on board as an executive consultant.

This is the first project for network TV produced by the production company – which LeBron’s business partner Maverick Carter heads. The Warner Bros. backed company produced the film TrainWrek, the Starz comedy Survivor’s Remorse and the CNBC business reality show, Cleveland Hustles.  SpringHill  is also working on Space Jam 2, that will star King James.
