Kevin Durant To Help Athletes Develop Content For YouTube Channels

Many athletes have attempted to create successful YouTube lifestyle channels. Cue Golden State Warriors star Kevin Durant with the assist.

Durant’s Thirty Five Media is partnering with YouTube to bring more athletes to the channel. In 2017, Durant launched a first of its kind channel that gave a behind-the-scenes look at his life and his quest to his first NBA championship. KD has 21 million views and over 580,000 subscribers.

In addition to content for athletes, they will also create new and innovative sports programming as a development partner. Already launched are channels for NFL All-Pro Richard Sherman, NBA star Karl-Anthony Towns, and a redo of one of our favorite parings, the Golden State Warriors JaVale McGee and Nick Young. Durant’s channel already airs a McGee focused show titled “Parking Lot Chronicles” which features McGee holding court in the coliseum parking lot, talking to some of the Bay Area’s most popular personalities.

Also on deck, a collaboration between Durant and actor/media personality Michael Rapaport.
