Shaquille O’Neal is an NBA legend. Wednesday night, Shaq got the news that the Lakers have commissioned a statue of the big diesel for Staples Center.
Jimmy Kimmel surprised Shaq with news during his appearance. Shaq seemed truly surprised, but unsure if he was being pranked.
The statue will feature Shaq in his power dunk pose.
Shaq who won three NBA titles, one MVP and three Finals MVP awards while in Los Angeles. He is No. 7 in scoring, No. 5 in rebounds and No. 2 in blocks in franchise history.
