Pam Oliver and Fox Sports Agree To 2-Year Contract Extension

 Pam-Oliver
Veteran NFL sideline repoter Pam Oliver will return to the sidelines for Fox Sports in the fall.

Last summer after Pam was moved to the “B” broadcast team with Kevin Burkhardt and John Lynch after being replaced by Erin Andrews. Oliver embarked on what was believed to be her farewell season with the network. But now its been announced that the network has extended her contract for two more years, starting in September.

“I was shocked, floored, a monumental surprise,” the 20-year veteran said about getting a call from Fox Sports President Eric Shanks and Executive Vice President John Entz asking if she would return to sideline reporting for the 2015 season.

“I think I was silent for a good 10 seconds and then screamed out, ‘What?” Oliver told SI as she opened up about the new offer. “I thought: ‘This makes no sense. What are they talking about?’”

Oliver has been with Fox Sports since 1995. She turns 54 today. Personally I’m extremely happy that we’ll continue to see Pam on the sidelines.
