Mark Sanchez Talks Rex Ryan, Dating In New York & Broadway Musicals

New York Jets QB Mark Sanchez is GQ magazine’s September cover guy. In the article, Mark discusses how he wanted to fight his coach Rex Ryan last season when he mentioned in the press he considered benching Sanchez after a week 13 lost to the Patriots.

He also shares his affinity for checking out Broadway musicals (he said his truck is littered with cast albums) and the difficulty of dating in New York.

“You have to be a 24-year-old bachelor,” he says, “with the means to do anything, just about, but with the wherewithal and understanding and life skills of a 45-year-old Supreme Court judge.”
