LeBron James Sees Similarities To Tim Tebow And Inspires ESPN’s Heather Cox To Recite Rick Ross Lyrics [Video]

LeBron James feels that he and Broncos QB Tim Tebow have a lot in common. LeBron of course has been under media scrutiny since he was in high school and has only gotten worst since his arrival to south beach. Tebow’s unwavering faith in God and dedication to his religion coupled with some miraculous comebacks have also made him a polarizing sports figure.

LeBron addressed the similarities while in Denver to take on the Nuggets Friday night:

The Miami Heat forward sees similarities when it comes to him and Tebow, especially when it comes to dealing with those who doubt him.

“I love to see what a guy can do when his back is up against the wall and everybody counts him out,” James said Friday, according to ESPN.com. “I’m in that same boat sometimes.”

James also spoke about he and Tebow have to deal with constant criticism from the media and he admires Tebow’s constant positive effort.

“I can relate to him a lot. I see how the media plays it sometimes and how the critics go at him,” James said. “To see him prove them wrong … he continues to stay positive and move forward. You respect that.”

Now, what does rapper Rick Ross have to do with both? Prior to the game King James was listening to a cut from the rapper’s latest mixtape, Rich Forever titled “F*ck ‘Em” the track opens with some lines about Tebow. ESPN sideline reporter Heather Cox decided to spit the lyrics so the viewers could get the full experience during a segment the Heat vs. Nuggets ESPN telecast.

Unfortunately the similarities between the two didn’t work in Bron and the Heat’s favor Friday night as the Heat lost 114-104. This was their third lost in a row.
