Recently I shared that Jay Z and Roc Nation Sports are making the plunge into boxing promotion. While Jay and Beyonce were on holiday in Thailand, the couple took in a Muay Thai fight at the Patong Boxing Stadium in Phuket.

Roc Nation Sports is debuting Throne boxing on Friday, January 9 at Madison Square Garden and will be broadcast live on FOX Sports 1. This won’t be your typical fight. Per E! online, the Roc Nation La Familia will be in the building with DJ Mustard as the night’s musical selector, Power 105’s Angie Martinez as the night’s emcee, and Fabolous performing between fights. Plus world famous ring announcer Michael Buffer will add his signature voice to the night.
