Ex-NFL star Larry Johnson arrested after fight in Miami club

Former NFL star Larry Johnson is in legal hot water again. Johnson was arrested for battery early Tuesday morning in Miami for allegedly attacking a man with a bottle in the club.

Per TMZ Sports, Johnson was allegedly upset that another club goer was try to drink for free off his table.

The alleged victim told police Johnson punched him in the face, sending him to the ground  and then “broke a bottle on the table and began swinging it toward him.”

According to the police report, the victim told cops Johnson then punched him in the face a few more times while he was on the ground.

Johnson reportedly told arresting officers that he used to be in the NFL.

A few years ago, Johnson was accused of choking an ex-girlfriend until she blacked out in a hotel room in Las Vegas.  He plead “No contest” in that case. larry-johnson-mugshotjpg

Larry last played in the the NFL in the 2011 season. That year he played one game with the Miami Dolphins. This will be Johnson’s fifth arrest since 2003.
