Tuesday it was reported that Floyd Mayweather jr. was on a Facetime call with his friend Earl Hayes,  when Hayes murdered his wife, actress/dancer Stephanie Mosley.

Hayes was reportedly upset because he believed his wife was cheating on him. Mosley was allegedly involved with singer Trey Songz at one point, and Hayes couldn’t get past it. TMZ Sports is now reporting that the LAPD want to have a sit down with Money May as they think he may have pushed Hayes over the edge.

Floyd was telling Hayes he should leave his wife…because she was bad for his career.

One Mayweather source says Floyd challenged Hayes, saying he was weak for not leaving her.

At that point, as Floyd was on FaceTime, Hayes went off and said he was going to gun down Stephanie. We’re told when the boxer realized Hayes was going to shoot Stephanie, he begged Hayes not to go through with it.

Our law enforcement sources say Hayes went into the bathroom and fired 10 to 12 shots as Stephanie was taking a bath. We’re told she was hit multiple times.

Horrible. But here’s the thing. IF this is true, how is this any different than a girlfriend telling her homegirl she should leave her cheating man. The person responsible for this horrific act killed himself. He made the decision to take a life. Hayes was an aspiring rapper, who at one point was signed to Dr. Dre. A few years ago he made a song for a mixtape where he talked about murder-suicide. There are lyrics saying take some with you that doesn’t deserve it, and talks about murdering his girlfriend. “Disrespect will end with a shot”

Police also discovered 10 pounds of high grade weed at the residence. That’s not for random consumption, that’s a street value of $40,000.
