Washington receiver DeSean Jackson might want to reevaluate who he lets come into his home. For the second time in less than two years, a home belonging to Jackson was robbed.
Wednesday night the receiver’s Tarzana, CA home was the target of a home invasion. Jackson is currently in Virgina but six of his friends were at the residence, with one reportedly being pistol whipped by intruders.
The friends managed to fight off the intruders, who fled the scene. Authorities believe that the robbers knew were the security cameras were located and had likely been in the home before.
In January 2014, Desean’s Philadelphia home was robbed, while Jackson was playing for the Philadelphia Eagles. At that time the crooks reportedly made off with $20,000 plus in jewelry, cash and other items.
Desean’s publicist issued a statement:
“DeSean is getting ready to be a father for the first time. He’s currently in Virginia practicing with the team. He had no knowledge of the incident until a phone call last evening. It’s a legal matter. We’re waiting for police to let us know more about the incident.
