It’s only right that Beyoncé drops a new single the day before she’s performing at halftime of Super Bowl 50 with ColdPlay.

Formation will surely be the next boss chick anthem. Be warned, this is 3rd ward Beyonce for you, profanity is included as she gives some hard facts to the haters. Filmed in New Orleans and featuring Big Freeda; Queen Bey slays those who had something to say about Blue Ivy’s hair, the illuminati comments and more. She also reminds you that she’s country, keeps hot sauce in her purse and can inspire a man to be the “next Bill Gates.”

The video also boasts of taking her boo to “Red Lobster” if he hits it right. Bey also throws a few jabs at social injustice, by showing a stand off between a young boy in a hoodie and police officers. Plus the symbolism in her rhyming on top of a sinking police car… the video is deliciously black!
