Timberwolves J.J. Barea was ejected from the Heat vs. Timberwolves game Monday night. Barea got into an altercation with Ray Allen.  Allen was sent to the floor by a chest bump and after review of the play, Barea was assessed a flagrant foul 2 and ejected. As Barea headed to the locker room he kept at Ray Allen calling him a f*cking p*ssy.

This being called a flagrant 2 a day after Serge Ibaka’s foul on Blake Griffin is interesting. I think the league needs to rescind the flagrant 2 ruling. Following the game, Barea had this to add:

“There was a play where he knocked the ball away and I got it back,” Allen said. “Then he just leveled me. I thought it was uncalled for. There is no place for that in the game.”

Barea said, “He pushed off, hit me with an elbow close to the neck. Then I gave him a bump back…I’ve been playing in the NBA for seven years. I get hit harder than that every night. I don’t get up crying. I want to fight.”
