Friday night fans of the Denver Nuggets had a scary moment during the team’s home opener. The Nuggets mascot, Rocky, reportedly suffered a dizzy spell and passed out while being lowered from the rafters to kick off player introductions.
Yikes, hope this isn’t an omen for the new season. The Nuggets have a new coach in Brian Shaw but the team doesn’t seem to have the spark it had the previous two seasons. The Nuggets lost the home opener, 113-98 to the Portland Trailblazers.
