We’re still trying to figure out what happened with Miami Heat forward Gerald Green. Last week Green was hospitalized under mysterious circumstances, but more details have emerged from that night.
According to the police report, Green approached the front desk of his condominium on November 4th with bloody hands – its unclear where the blood came from – at 10:00 AM asking for medical assistance. Green then reportedly left the lobby and collapsed outside. Green was then helped back inside by a man who attempted to keep him confined until the paramedics arrived. The report states that Green punched the man in the eye as he attempted to keep him calm. The individual declined to press charges.
Green was handcuffed for the transport because he was loud and combative. he’s not facing any criminal charges.
The forward was suspended for two games by the Heat for conduct detrimental to the team. He’ll rejoin them for practice Saturday.
