LeBron James was officially welcomed back to his home state of Ohio on Friday night during an event for The LeBron James Family Foundation. LeBron told the fans that he’s never leaving them again and his goal is to bring a title to the Cavs. He went on to say that achieving that feat would be his greatest basketball milestone.

“I don’t plan on going nowhere. I don’t have the energy to do it again,” James said

He said winning a championship with the Cavaliers “would be the greatest achievement in my life as far as on the court. That’s my goal.”

Of course the topic of Kevin Love came up. The Love trade is reportedly done via a handshake deal, to be formalized after August 23rd when the Cavs are able to trade Andrew Wiggins.

“Even with the veterans we’ve brought in, even if we’re able to acquire Kevin Love two weeks from now, it’s still going to be a process,” James said. “I know that firsthand. It was a process when I was in Cleveland. It was a process in Miami. It’s going to be a challenge.”
